RIDER Lung PET-CT
RIDER Lung PET-CT is a subsection of the broader Reference Image Database to Evaluate Therapy Response (RIDER) collection. RIDER is a targeted data collection for the purpose of generating an initial consensus on how to harmonize data collection and analysis for quantitative imaging methods as applied to measure the response to drug or radiation therapy. The long term goal is to provide a resource to permit harmonized methods for data collection and analysis across different commercial imaging platforms, as required to support multi-site clinical trials, using imaging as a biomarker for therapy response. Please see the RIDER Lung PET-CT page to learn more about the images and to obtain any supporting metadata for this collection.

What it is good for
Written and checked by a reviewer, not generated from metadata.
No reviewed research questions yet. The measurements and field completeness above are machine-extracted and still useful for judging fit.
What it cannot tell you
Written by a reviewer against the source, not inferred from what is missing.
Clinical data arrive as 2 collection-specific table(s) with 31 columns in total, named by the submitting trial rather than by a shared vocabulary. The variables exist, but they cannot be compared field by field with the harmonized repositories, so this record's analysis verdicts stay unmeasured. The collection's supporting_data field does not list clinical data even though a table is served.
Mitigation: Read the table's own schema from https://api.imaging.datacommons.cancer.gov/v3/clinical/tables before planning an analysis.
Who has used it
Articles that analyzed these data, counted separately from articles that only cited the paper. Only the first counts as reuse.
- Not assessed: this dataset has no accession specific enough for citation-based reuse tracing, so a shortfall cannot be measured.
Articles that analyzed the data
Not searchable. See the note above.
